PRESS RELEASE: KOMeeting
Women get Ready: Foster greater gender equality
and employability in the digital era
The newly launched WOMEN GET READY project, a Project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Commission, aims to increase women’s digital readiness and participation in the digital economy by promoting the acquisition of competencies such as the willingness and ability to learn and pursue new career opportunities, make adjustments flexibly to an ever-changing business environment, and be prepared to be flexible. Partners debated how to attain this objective at the project’s online kickoff meeting on February 9th, 2022 using the electronic zoom platform.
Each partner begins with a quick presentation about their organization. A presentation was given regarding the activities that they will be involved in during the program. The discussion then focused on the development of deliverables related to PR1 Digital readiness competences dictionary and PR4 Female avatars and digital upskilling HUB. The conversation centered on the methodology that would be utilized to ensure ongoing evaluation of the program and the effect assessment procedure is offered in order to promote the program to the target groups, as well as a variety of templates. The communication and distribution plans, as well as the templates for them, are scrutinized. Furthermore, the project’s administrative and financial procedures, as well as reporting requirements, are outlined so that each partner understands how expenses are allocated for each stage of the program. Finally, the dates for the next partners meeting in Spain have been established, and it will focus on accomplishments made thus far as well as future stages of the project.
